The program

Overview

Arizona's best era came under Dick Tomey, whose 'Desert Swarm' defenses anchored a 10-2 season in 1993 and a 12-1 season in 1998. The Territorial Cup game against Arizona State is one of the oldest rivalries in the West. The Wildcats left the Pac-12 for the Big 12 in 2024.
