Overview
Iowa State's stadium is named for Jack Trice, the school's first Black athlete, who died from injuries suffered in a 1923 game. Long an underdog in the Big Eight and Big 12, the Cyclones reached new heights under Matt Campbell, including a Fiesta Bowl victory after the 2020 season and an 11-win 2024 season.
