Overview
Cincinnati is one of the older programs in college football, and its coaches have included Sid Gillman, Brian Kelly and Luke Fickell. Kelly's 2009 team went 12-0 in the regular season, and Fickell's 2021 Bearcats became the first Group of Five team to reach the four-team College Football Playoff. Cincinnati joined the Big 12 in 2023.
