Overview
Boston College, a Jesuit school, is best known for Doug Flutie's 1984 Heisman season and his last-second 'Hail Flutie' pass to beat Miami. Frank Leahy's 1940 team went unbeaten and won the Sugar Bowl. The Eagles joined the ACC in 2005 and have a long rivalry with fellow Catholic school Notre Dame.
