Overview
Florida State became a national power under Bobby Bowden, whose teams finished in the AP top five for 14 straight seasons (1987-2000) and won national titles in 1993 and 1999. Jimbo Fisher's 2013 team, led by Heisman winner Jameis Winston, won the final BCS championship. Before home games, Chief Osceola plants a flaming spear at midfield atop his Appaloosa, Renegade.
