The program
Overview
Georgia Tech was shaped by early coach John Heisman, whose 1916 team beat Cumberland 222-0, and by Bobby Dodd, who led the Yellow Jackets to the 1952 national title. Bobby Ross' 1990 team claimed a share of the national championship. A vintage Ford Model A, the 'Ramblin' Wreck,' leads the team onto Bobby Dodd Stadium at Historic Grant Field, one of the oldest on-campus stadiums in FBS.
