Overview
South Florida began playing football in 1997 under Jim Leavitt and rose to No. 2 in the BCS standings in 2007, only a decade later. Willie Taggart and Charlie Strong led double-digit-win teams in 2016 and 2017, and in 2025 Alex Golesh's Bulls returned to the AP Top 25 after early wins over Boise State and Florida.
