Overview
Nebraska became a national power under Bob Devaney, who won titles in 1970 and 1971, and his successor Tom Osborne, whose option-based teams won three titles in four seasons (1994, 1995, 1997). Memorial Stadium has hosted an NCAA-record streak of consecutive sellouts dating to 1962. Johnny Rodgers, Mike Rozier and Eric Crouch won the Heisman, and Nebraska moved from the Big 12 to the Big Ten in 2011.
